Anxious

So for the past few weeks I have been bombarding my elder sister with questions about college. I know I’m not the only incoming freshman who is worried and who doesn’t feel prepared for the “real world”. I’m especially nervous because my parents are sending me to the other side of the country with no car, and relatives that I haven’t talked to in over ten years, and on top of that the major that I choose (nursing ) is very impacted at my school, they only accept 40 student out of the 600 + that apply. The average GPA for the students who are admitted into the nursing program is a 3.8, meaning I cant even make a B . I don’t know how I’m going to survive. Hopefully with the guidance of the lord I will do just fine. Any-who I have been nervous with a month left under my parents roof I’m lost and nervous. I can’t tell whether I’m excited or whether I made a horrible mistake choosing to go to school so far from home. My Sister, sensing my anxiousness, has been answering all of my questions as well as doing research for me she found this site that has tips for studying, note taking , all the works. The site also compares HS to College it seems really interesting and helpful.

Hopefully those who are feeling anxious , like myself, will find this website helpful too . I’ll keep you all updated

The website: http://smu.edu/alec/index.asp

it’s like a student help organization for SMU. This isn’t the college I’m going to but you guys should check your school website to see if they have one.
